			Florence & Chafetz Home for Specialized Care provides enhanced assisted living with extraordinary comfort, encouragement and understanding. The activities of daily living and individual and group programs are custom designed to promote the physical, social and mental well-being of each individual. Residents with dementia will find secure, soothing surroundings, flexible living arrangements, failure-free activities and a staff dedicated to altering the environment to meet the needs of each person.  Access and egress are controlled through the Home’s state-of-the-art security system. The staff is specially trained to anticipate the needs of residents to reduce frustration and confusion.

			The compact configuration of each the studio apartments and the individual “neighborhoods” maximize independence and offer freedom and comfort to the physically challenged.

			Special care is given to presentation of meals, individual preferences and optimum nutrition. Flexible dining and assistance with meals is key to maintaining health. Inviting kosher meals are served in three congenial dining areas, as well as special menus and snacks on demand.
			Activities in both small and larger gatherings are held in the living rooms of each wing and in the spacious, bright central café. Activity specialists facilitate discussions, sing-a longs, drawing and crafts, games, exercise sessions and holiday programs.
